Training course „Statistics and modeling of wetlands"
Training course „Statistics and modeling of wetlands" will take place from 31st May to 04th June 2010 at the Central Laboratory of General Ecology, 2 Gagarin Street, Sofia.
Main objective
Develop skills to understand the theoretical background of the methods and the practical use of approaches in the analysis of multivariate ecological data, namely the use of cluster and ordination techniques as well as multivariate hypothesis testing procedures based on the PRIMER software.
The program includes the following topics:
- Samples, variables and measurement scales
- Resemblance functions for the analysis of variables
- Cluster analysis
- Ordination analysis (NMDS, PCO, PCA)
- Hypothesis testing of multivariate data (PERMANOVA).
