Objectives
- Improving the human capacity of CLGE-BAS in wetland studies (Project Objective 1) and achieving better integration in European Research Area (Project Objective 3) by training and transfer of know-how and experience.
- Visits of staff members of CLGE-BAS in relevant EU wetland research centres.
- Visits of incoming experienced researchers to CLGE-BAS and its remote laboratories.
Description of work
Task 2.1. Outgoing visits of staff members of CLGE-BAS for transfer of knowledge and experience and training.
This Task aims at the introduction of highly-advanced approaches and techniques in wetland studies of CLGE-BAS by selecting several possible host institutions that can accept our staff members for training and exchange of know-how and experience, each of them being a leader in a certain field.
2.1.1. Short-term visits (up to 1 month): 5.
2.1.2. Middle-term visits (up to 3 months): 8.
2.1.3. Long-term visits of PhD students and young researchers (up to 6 months): 3.
Task 2.2. Incoming visits of experienced researchers from other centres.
In this Task, we include (i) twinning visit that will allow strengthening the collaboration (after or before visit of our staff member in a certain research centre) and (ii) visits by experienced researcher that may have wider impact on a number of staff members (e.g., in introducing of new methods and techniques after the acquisition of new equipment).

Deliverables
D2.1. Summary reports on the visits of research staff for training and transfer of know-how and experience: 12th, 24th, 35th month.
D2.2. Summary reports on the visits of experienced researchers from other research centres: 12th, 24th, 35th month.
D2.3. Summary-list and folder with copies of peer-reviewed publications associated with the outgoing and incoming visits: 24th, 35th month.
