Recruitment of incoming experienced researchers

Objectives
Contribution to improvement of the human capacity of CLGE-BAS in wetland studies (Project Objective 1) and to the better integration in ERA (Project Objective 3) by recruitment of experienced researchers in view of enhancing the following units:
- Ecological Station at the Srebarna Biosphere Reserve – 1 researcher
- Laboratory of Marine Ecology, Sozopol – 1 researcher
- Field Station at the Atanasovsko Lake Reserve – 1 researcher
- Wetland Laboratory Unit – 1 researcher
Description of work
Task 3.1. Selection and hiring procedure for incoming researchers.
Four incoming experienced researchers (at least at postdoc level) will be employed, initially for 1 year, with a possibility to extend their contracts up to 24-30 months.
The selection will be a result of widely announced procedure in international journal and on the homepage of CLGE-BAS. They will work in accordance with preliminary approved working programmes. Their work will be closely connected with the project activities and, in many cases, in collaboration with permanent staff members.
Task 3.2. Monitoring and assessment of research activities of incoming research staff.
The work of the incoming researchers will be assessed at annual basis and this will result in either extension of contract until the end of the project or their termination.
Deliverables
D3.1. Announcement of positions, job contracts, set of work programmes of the employed researchers – 6th month.
D3.2. Set of progress reports on the activities of researchers – 12th, 18th, 24th, 30th and 35th month.
